Meet Ellie, Agile Explorer

“I came to the conference to learn. All this terminology is new to me. Where do I get started?”

Ellie has been hearing buzz about agile for a while. The software development group she works for in her company has been struggling for a while. She’s attending the conference to bring back a strategy so they can start using agile. She senses the strong spirit and energy in the agile community, but the amount of jargon is overwhelming.

Ellie is looking mostly to attend the various introduction sessions. The Introduction to Scrum by Henrik Kniberg is an obvious top choice, as are Adopting an Agile Culture from Lily Cho and Agile by the Numbers: What People Are Really Doing in Practice with Scott Ambler. She has heard recently about Lean Software Development and is wondering is The Lean Lego Game (Danilo Sato & Francisco Trindade) would be a good introduction.

Does this story sound familiar to you? Ellie is a persona, a fictional character used to focus parts of the conference. Come and meet like-minded participants at Agile 2009 Conference. And check out the top sessions at the conference for Ellie.
